I went to church this morning.
It was interesting-I agree with a lot of stuff the dude said.
He was preaching love and kindness to everyone.
However, I do not agree with Jesus, as per my religion.

I met a parent and was talking about faith, and everything having to do with it, and I told him I was Jewish but I did like the service. He replied, "you're eighteen? Questioning what you believe in and everything?"
I have never been quicker to respond, "no. I'm definitely Jewish, and I know that."

And now I am thinking about how terribly I want to join a temple here.
It's funny, I hold religion to a much higher priority than most people my age, or what most people assume (especially since I got a tattoo, which is very much NOT kosher, hahaha).
I think with age I'm starting to realize how much this means to me.
I'm a minority, and I don't want to lose what I am.
